I didnt but I kept my hard drive. the hard drive was alright BUT when I logged on to my windows, I had a username and now I cannot access the files from C:\Documents and settings\silver\

<7> it's called a 'upgrade' within the xp install ... I start the cd within windows .... after answering some questions ... like the serial number you come to a drop down menu and you choose 'upgrade'
