<14> Hey, I've made a pretty good accomplishment -- I got Ubuntu installing on my Macintosh PowerBook 3400c. What a headache it was. But I got that far... now I've run into a problem, I don't have enough disk space to install all of the default packages. How do I trim it down before/during the install? the PC version gives me a prompt when it boots so I can choose an 'edition', but this doesn't.
<14> I've got 1.7G (the default desktop install says it takes 1.8G ) so I need to trim off a little. I know in old redhat distros, etc, it would let me see a package selection screen where I could pick and choose...

<14> I got Ubuntu booting on my PowerBook 3400c, but the graphics drivers are slightly scrambled (i can see the login screen and the logo, but they have stripes through them, and text is difficult to read.. moving the mouse scrambles things worse) ... Text mode worked fine before X started...
