<3> you know for example if you are using php to insert information into a field(which is set as NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT) and you are inserting the via a php query( INTO VALUES(NULL, ....) is there a way to reset the counter for the null value?

<4> hello... im using time() - which i gather shows the time since unix epoch in seconds... i am required to show in milliseconds so am doing time()*1000 - but this results in something like 1.140990252E+12 - is there not a way to show this as a human readable number without the .E+ stuff?
