<9> dravine: I have cleanup code at the end of my code that I would like to execute regardless of whether or not there is an error. It is more efficient to use a goto or a jump rather than to call a function to execute this code. The only other alternative is to have nested if hell. I choose the goto route as it is the most efficient and simplest.

<9> you must be one of those ignorant programers that think "goto == evil". Newbies are told not to use goto because it can lead to bad program structure, but that is the only reason that is done.
