I store a binary utf-8 file with addslashes in mysql. when i retrieve data I print the data from the resultset and I add another line with print "xxxx". the problem is that the extra line seems to have a wrong encoding. I've tried print utf8_encode("xxx") etc but still the same. any hints ?
