<1> hello, what function can i use to check if a property of an object exists??
<0> their / partition was free which is where /tmp is (where it was putting the files) but /usr filled up...

<10> whats the maximum times I can redirect people in a chain with header?
<11> infinite
<12> depends on the browser
<11> yay for stupid html tricks
<10> Well is there kind of a minimum maxium? lol
<12> 20 for gecko based browsers
<9> cool
<12> network.http.redirection-limit
<11> i ***ume you all made a recursive frameset once to see what would happen?
<13> damn gecko didn't save me ****
<10> ok so its pretty much universally more than two?
<8> Hajuu oh yea.. a lot of times it's a timeout thing
<8> Hajuu some of my stuff i have redirect at least once sometimes 2 or 3 times to ensure they don't get a do you want to report page if they hit refresh
<14> e vreun roman pe aici ?
<12> im being totally ignored again
<12> FUN!
<8> irzyxel wtf are you talking about
<12> gecko has a default limit of 20
<12> no timing out
<12> PERIOD!
<9> whores
<8> gecko...? who the **** uses gecko?
<8> lol
<12> mozilla, firefox, ... ?

<12> http://www.mozilla.org/newlayout/
<10> nah well its just wierd.. I have two scripts.. one headers to the other one.. which starts the session (same as the first file does), and then does some stuff, then outputs that into a session and headers back to the first script... If I comment the header back to the first script and echo the session variable, it echos and everything is fine... If I undo the echo and do the header I get a "Page cannot be displayed" error :/

<17> what module lets me calculate with datetime objects ?
<17> I need to do stuff like: $today - "3 hours"
<18> novation http://uk.php.net/calendar ?
<11> strtotime can do someo f that
<17> ok let me check those modules.
<17> I am not used to coding with php :)
<10> they are functions, not modules by the way
<10> :P
<2> heeeello
<17> functions!?
<17> what age is this.
<10> ...
<10> That is what they are called.
<10> modules are usually a group of functions together to perform a specific task
<10> functions make up modules
<10> calandar is a module I think
<10> but strtotime is a function
<17> strtotime works great.
<17> $day1 = date("Y-m-d" , strtotime("day") ) ;
<17> that shouldnt give tomorrows date should it ?
<17> "
<17> "0 day" gives todays date.
<19> use mktime with time()+(24*60*60), no?
<10> yep
<16> novation: it takes the approach day == 1 day from now
<16> remember in the computer world everything starts at 0
<20> except the number of bugs in M$ products
