<0> hrmm, i figured out what the problem(s) are... it looks like a. one of the two arrays isn't getting sent via POST, and b. there are thirteen checkboxes, two of them are selected, those have the value of ON in the array, but the unselected ones don't add anything to the array.
<0> i guess the big thing is to get 'OFF' or NULL into the array for those checkboxes that don't get selected
