<7> You can probably make space for a FAT32 parition using partition wizard. But unless you want to keep the Linux install I don't see the point.

<7> Just put the XP CD in the drive and start the setup procedure. When it shows you the drives and asks you where you want to install it, delete the partition that are there and create a new FAT32 one.
