<0> nice head butt there <1> I'm still stuck on the 13, as I don't know what num out of 1 to 99 to select. <1> bad head butt. That was stupid, no matter WHAT the Italian had done. <2> Viking667 try whatever is missing from *that* sentence <1> hm. "for some" and "For some" both fail, as does "14, for some" <2> er, from the sentence shown <2> and " 2 is a _ <2> err " " <1> tojoe: err, WHAT sentence, are we talking "13, unlucky ..." <2> yep <1> hm. <1> do I stick the whole sentence back in? As in "unlucky_for_some.html" <1> obviously not. <3> ... <3> And please don't pollute the channel with obvious clues! <1> err, THAT'S not obvious!
<0> Viking667 yes it was stupid to do but nicely executed <3> Redr: Are you playing? <0> i'm just being a goof, pretty bored atm <0> ignore me at will :) <3> n.nfshost.com is where all the cool kids are relieving their boredom today :) <4> what is it? <3> It is what it is. <1> bronaugh: logic puzzle <1> oh, logic/knowledge <4> ok <5> configure: error: Cannot locate program pg_config to determine PostgreSQL paths. Make sure pg_config is in PATH or set PG_CONFIG env var to path to pg_config. << what does that mean ? <6> gee, it probably means that it can't find pg_config, like it says. <4> ie... you need to install postgresql <3> Roc: What Linux distribution? <6> If you think you should be building applications that depend on postgres, maybe actually installing the postgres development packages would be a good idea. <3> pg_config is usually part of the devel package <7> longvvord: you finished it? <3> I did. <7> on 20 now... 19 was kinda funny <3> 20 isn't actually that hard but seems to trip everyone up, me included <5> uhm sorry longvvord, its Cent OS <5> bronaugh: I installed it ;) <3> I've forgotten what your problem is <5> Roconda configure: error: Cannot locate program pg_config to determine PostgreSQL paths. Make sure pg_config is in PATH or set PG_CONFIG env var to path to pg_config. << what does that mean ? <6> Roconda: You were told. <4> Roconda: perhaps you should have listened. <3> Roc: yum install postgresql-devel <5> longvvord: cant, cause I haveto install libpq++ and pgtcl with it <6> So? <4> t-a-r-d <3> Roc: Riiight. <6> Roconda: There's some reason you think you shouldn't have to install these packages, I'm sure. What is it? <5> cause my program doesnt work with that standard packages <3> Roco: Rewrite the program <6> Roconda: How would you know? You don't even know how to build "your program". <5> its not my program but some program ;) <5> gnuworld <2> .o <8> can mod_cband work not only for http traffic but also for ftp trafic? and if it can... how? <3> Juni: HTTP only. <8> longvvord and for ftp? <3> I think proftpd has something built-in but I'm not certain <3> Someone would have to research that. <3> If only there was some way to search the web... <6> Yeah... maybe someday some big company will come up with a way. <6> They could sell stock and everything. <8> yeee <8> :P <4> yo Coma <9> I'm having problems booting livecds. My system is cd-boot capable, and it works fine with older distros (ie. Knoppix-STD, Trinux, etc.), but the newer ones (Ubuntu 5.x, Auditor..) just hang on "Syslinux v X.blabla" - Is there a known, common problem with newer versions of syslinux and cd booting on older systems? (pIII450 here) <3> Sif: Older systems can be less forgiving on CD errors <4> if you've got a spare CD drive kicking around, try it instead of the current one <4> I've had variable success with bootable CDs on older drives. <3> Sif: And they're _MUCH_ more prone to errors when booting than when reading from the same disc/drive within the OS <4> it -could- be that, or it could be the BIOS. <9> I've tried two different drives, one burner and one pure cd drive. I've also burned multiple copies of the cds and tested them to no avail, so I'm fairly sure it's not a cd error, at least not in that sense <4> try flashing the BIOS? <9> Haven't gone there yet <4> I doubt it'd help, but it's worth a shot if there's a newer BIOS available.
<3> Anyone got near 30 yet? <9> I tried to load them from a boot manager (Smart boot Manager) also, that's what I use to boot from cds on older systems that don't have boot-cd capability, but in this case the results were all the same <7> longvvord: heh...still at 20 <10> can someone give me a clue with wine? <11> what sort of clue are you looking for? <10> I want to play a game :) <10> So, I want to install it, from cddrom <10> ~/.wine/drive_c>wine /media/cdrecorder/autorun.exe <10> wine: cannot find '/media/cdrecorder/autorun.exe' <10> how am I supposed to run autorun.exe from cdrom? <12> Is there a way of printing a pdf-file directly from a command line? <13> Run: you *could* try supplying the right path as an argument :P <10> sinthetek: it exists :/ <13> Run: keep in mind that linux command prompt is case sensitive <7> alright. i've tried every possible combination of the obvious...*smoke break* <10> -r-xr-xr-x 1 root root 223232 Nov 12 1998 /media/cdrecorder/autorun.exe* <13> are you sure it isn't 'Autorun.exe'? <13> hrm... <13> no idea then <4> Run: that's odd. <4> I do that all the time with wine, to run pretty much anything I need to. <4> run winecfg first? <4> though I guess you've probably done tha.t <10> I got it working <4> sweet. what was issue? <10> added a symlink in dosdevices d: -> /media/cdrecorder and then ran wine d:/autorun.exe <4> odd. <4> I always run things directly with UNIX paths. <4> maybe you don't have a z:/ or whatever that refers to /? <4> so that wine can't translate the path to a DOSey path? <3> kodon: I wrote a program to generate 300 or so brute-force guesses <3> kodon: And found out that it was a URL that I thought I'd already tried <12> Can someone point me to a PDF-reader who uses low recourses? <14> longvvord: 30 what? <3> gcb: The end of the game <3> gcb: http://n.nfshost.com/ <3> aavar: xpdf isn't too bad <12> longvvord, Hmm... yeah, but I can't get it working with cups. <12> Infection? <3> Not you <3> Unless you follow that URL I gave to gcbirzan <13> grr <14> :-) <13> it is your soul mission in life to make me feal inadequate, eh longvvord? :P <3> sin: Are you stuck on 8? <13> yeah <3> Ah jesus. <3> It's French. <13> i was just about to start trying to brainstorm again <13> pfft <13> wtf, no wonder <4> trying to brainstorm, and all you ended up with was a storm of brains? <3> Fair warning: That's not the most evil language they use <4> I've heard of raining cats a dogs, but that's a bit outrageous. <13> haha, yeah <13> omg, there's others? <13> that ****s man. they should make a 'one language per game' law or something <14> longvvord: Hm. 12 :-P <3> 12 and 13 are a little evil for non-native English speakers IMHO <14> longvvord: Google to the rescue :-) <15> my webserver keeps going down and i want to look at the server logs. anyone know where they are? <15> i found httpd/logs/ <3> gaw: Typically /var/log and /var/log/httpd/ <15> thats what i was looking for tankh <14> longvvord: Hm. Or not. <7> longvvord: 12 and 13 aren't as bad as 14 <3> 14 is grand. <3> Unless you mean getting from 13 to 14 <7> yes <14> ah, no ' in 13 :-P <14> longvvord: And 13 was... not what I expected :-P <3> For 13->14 I offer the search term 'bingo' <14> 14 is easy
