<13> got a gparted question. i googled and only see the question but not an answer. i'm trying to shrink an ntfs partition on my work laptop and then copy the partition to an external hd. the shrink works fine but when i try to copy it to the external hd, it fails on create empty partition. any ideas what i'm dorking up?

<17> YES! I booted it up with options vga=771 ... then I did an interactive startup, and disabled service "first_boot" and then when I logged in as root, it started to go to x... then I just ctrl-alt until I hit another prompt.. and logged in again avoiding x.. and viola.. into a term
