<0> port forwarding 80 to it maybe? <0> and because the cell tries to get at it with the inet IP from the inside, its failing? <1> i have 'virtual servers' and all the servers i'm using point to this system <1> right <0> that shouldnt be, im doing the same thing at home, but im still able to use my internet IP to get at it, even internally <0> of course, belkin usually screws everything up <1> really? i thought i was doing good to get a belkin instead of netgear or linksys <1> when i put in my external ip i get the router page. <0> i dont really like any of them <0> but linksys seem to be a little less craptastic in my experience <0> belkin are always the worst though <0> when i was doing dsl phone support, whenever they said "belkin router" i knew it was going to be trouble <1> damn. :( now i put the cellphone ip in the dmz and i enabled that feature and when i go to the domain name i get the router <1> LOL <2> feeeh <2> humm.... wonder if busy box's shell likes pretty prompts
<3> exit <4> Hey, I have a bunch of files organized in ***orted directories. This structure doens't work well for my needs. I want to just copy all files of a certain type from this entire directory tree into one other directory. is there some combination of switches with cp that can accomplish this? <1> find / -iname "*.txt" -exec cp "{}" /path/for/directory ";" <1> find /path/to/start/looking/in -iname "*.txt" -exec cp "{}" /path/for/directory ";" <5> how do i remove xdm from the startup? (debian) <6> Is there a way to list all the rpm's on your machine? <7> duplex-: rpm --list? <7> nah, that wasn't it. <6> nah :-/ <7> there's something about listing in the manpage <7> sadly I can't test it, as I don't have an RPM-based distro <7> rpm -ql might work <8> test this: find / -name "*.rpm" <7> `man rpm` works for sure <6> This isn't an rpm based distro either. <8> for the author's original question <6> I think some ****er installed a .rpm on it though. <6> It's debian. <8> duplex-: any reason to believe this happened? <6> mule: Yeah. I'm trying to install vmware from a .tgz and it's telling me some crap that it's already installed as an rpm. <8> so you suspect someone bought vmware and installed it on your system malicioussly? <8> this becomes more interesting <8> the script-kiddies in your region must be rich <6> mule: No, one of my previous coworkers. <6> But thanks for being an *** about it. <8> pleasure, my kiddie, now go pirate software elsewhere. <8> actually, ignore me :) <6> Yeah, because it's not like vmware player and vmwareserver ARE FREE <8> I wouldn't know <6> I can tell. <8> (but I would know if I needed to, like you) <6> Before running your mouth like an ***hole, at least get some kind of clue what you're insulting people over, dip****. <8> calm down, I understand you are frustrated. <9> i have ubuntu and i've download from windows a vpn client for linux and burned it to a cd then copied from cd to ubuntu , ofcourse when i logged in , and when i do 'make' it gives all the ******* errors <9> you know what am i supossed to do to solve this ? <8> xnix: ubuntu comes with a vpn client <9> vncviewer <9> but it gives connection refused <9> i've set up the network . <8> well, it works, honestly <9> hmm , well is it a command to change the port ? <9> or smthn ? <9> coz the vpn port is 1725 <8> coz you might try reading the manual? <9> did so . <8> oh well. <9> but i came here to ask why does it gets error when i try to compile something <8> right...paste the actual error in a pastebin <9> i'm in windows now <9> but it gets <9> lots and lots of error <9> can't paste them all <9> smthn wrong with gcc or make or smthn . <9> too n00b with this . <8> right, well, you really won't succeed installing like you planned <9> why ? <8> downloading a random source and attempting to compile it <8> things have build dependencies <8> dependencies you can't really imagine, because you never tried it before <8> so horrible, that even people who know how to do it, choose not to
<9> is there a packet with all the libs or wtf i need to make gcc work properly <8> no, it depends what you are trying to compile <9> pptp-1.7.0 <9> i did make :) as it said in the INSTALL doc <9> well ? <6> xnix: Don't install things from source. Use the package management system. alien can convert things to .deb. Read about it. <9> ahaa <9> and then apt-get install it ? <9> or smthn ? <6> or dpkg -i install it. <6> Since you're not installing it from repositories. <9> apt-get install pptp-linux <9> lol <9> brb <9> let me see if it works.. <6> heh <10> I 4 teh c0z! <11> Why would I want FAM? <12> where should the MAC be specified ? when routing internet, on PREROUTING/POSTROUTING or on FORWARD ? <13> how i open one port using iptables? <14> -j accept <13> lol <15> now now, gun violence is a no! <16> do you need a car where you live or could you go by bus and train, too? <17> is there a way to redirect all http requests that go through a NAT to a web page ? <12> squid <18> hi im having problems when I do startx "no core pointer" and dont know how to solutionate it <18> could anyone help me? <18> i cant understand why, with 2.6.8 kernel its working very well, but with 2.6.15 <18> no <18> this is theend_______!!!!! <18> lol this is a help channel as the same answes as do I have 155 years <15> ? <16> thend_, do you pay for answers? <18> why? Now I tried it again and it turned out that X didn't start because of missing "Core pointer" ie. xf86config defaulted to "/dev/mouse" which I didn't have. I changed "/dev/psaux" into "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" and after that X started just fine. <18> ciao wensu!! <18> my god Im going to leave debian i think <18> byeeeee bye World! <19> is there a worm/virus which puts a.php , a.psp , a.pl and help.zip and changes the index.php files ? <12> google ? <20> from memory, google is a search engine, http://www.google.com/, or your best friend, or or for a tuturial see http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/TeachingLib/Guides/Internet/Google.html <21> lol <21> hmm <21> i wana mini-moke <21> lol <21> :d <21> :D* <19> Dreadfull, i goggled but poor results.. goggle understands a.php as "a php" , stopword exclusion didnt work either <21> woops!
