<0> ^^ that fire melted quite a lot of windows <1> OK, drywall sheets with isolation in between will probably last a little longer, but with fire in sight I wouldn't want to stick around long enough to see how long the gl*** would have lasted <0> god damn ****ing idiot igniting my building <0> god damn mentally ill idiot <0> thankfully it was the old building though, was only used for some storage, about 400 square meters of paper <0> had the wind been in the other direction it would be far more demage on the main building <2> storing all that flammable stuff. Shame on you. <1> Ever since we had this smallish fire a year ago, the fire deparment's been on our case with what seems, bi-weekly inspections <2> how'd it start? <2> Coma: My office is probably a quite serious fire hazard. <0> whyzzyrd: parafine and match.. <0> whyzzyrd: idiot even denied he had been there, although we had him on camera <2> K_F: I understood how yours started. I meant Coma's. <0> ah.. <0> to be honest it was probably for a good thing <0> but don't quote me on that
<1> whyzzyrd: Overheated batteries in a forklift :/ <2> K_F: I didn't know it was paraffin, but TBH it's the only sensible thing to start a fire with. <2> Coma: ow. <2> K_F: It's heavy enough that it's safe to light, and light enough to light easily. <0> Coma: at least it wasn't the old gas-types <0> a gas storage not too far away from the building in my case <1> K_F: There are also new gas types, afaik they're just as safe <0> we got it lifted away quite soon.. <0> Coma: yeah, but the old ones were not :) <0> damn, I remember those days <1> Oh you old fart :P <0> have been ammoniak leaks twise <0> Coma: I'm 20 you dufus <1> Duh <0> but I have spent some time down at that plant.. <1> You sure sound like my great grandfather :P <0> hehe <1> "*cough* *cough* *cough* Look sonny, back in those days, when the men were of steel and the coins of wood, those were the days" <0> I quite often get referred to as a grandfather-type <0> one of the reasons the relationship ended as well :( <1> She kept calling you grandad, even at akward moments? <1> s/kw/wkw/ <1> Oh, oh, oh, yes! yes! yes! granddady, give it me! <1> Err, to me, even :P <0> I said grandfather-type <0> taste in music, movies, everything.. <1> I think I'll shut up now <0> hehe <0> I should too <0> but if anyone knows a hot chick in the Oslo, Norway region, give her my email addy <0> lonely spoiled brat with own apartment and an Audi A6 seeking companionship <1> Hmm <1> I wonder if banks ever get modern enough to start using formats like XML, instead of using fixed width multiline records :/ <0> Coma: they are in Norway anyways <1> K_F: I doubt it, atleast not for the important bits <0> Coma: just had a major rewrite to the internet banking, as well as internet banking for business <0> the IB for B part at least have an XML API <0> to interact with existing systems <1> K_F: Oh, that's only for simple communication with the outside world <0> used something called NorNett before, windows client <0> yeah, what XML is for, operatibility <0> everything is stored in Oracle <1> I'm taling about the inter-bank transactions that get fed to mainframes <0> ^^ <0> Norway is quite special though, for one thing a common banking framework for quite a number of the banks <1> K_F: Here it goes a little further. There's this one special "bank" that handles _all_ payments between all of them <1> Our fabulous InterPay :/ <0> hehe <0> called BBS here <1> It's still fun to see how things work on the inside though. Sometimes it's amazing the size of the numbers that get shifted <0> Bank Payment Central, directly translated <0> http://bbs.no/bbs/english/first_side.htm <3> so. utterly. bored. <3> not -that- bored, but thanks :P <4> mornin', all <5> Morning <1> Morning, Ka-bar <0> Heya Ka-bar
<4> I can't wait for the weekend. So far this week, I've spent more time in the office than away from it. <4> and twice as much time working as sleeping. (i.e. 12 hour work day, 6 hours sleep) <6> K_F: Get a real job, one that doesn't have summer holidays. <4> K_F: school's out? You're not going to suddenly turn into a clueless kiddiot pestering us with inane questions, are you? <6> Ka-bar: Bet he will. <4> :) <0> Ka-bar: last exam of the semester :) <0> Ka-bar: and I've been a cluless kidd0t regarding my former relationship for the past months already <0> think I've used my quota on IRC already <3> Ka-bar: not a clueless idiot, but a skilled troll <1> K_F: Y'know, at one point someone's going to be incredibly fed up with you whining about the ex <3> /my guess <0> Coma: hence the "used my my quota" already <0> Jostein: I even scheduled a trip to the hairdresser today <3> wow <3> K_F: you have hair to dress? :P <0> ? <0> too much, hence shredding some of it away <1> K_F: Oh, I can recommend you one <0> Jostein: valid point <0> Jostein: what about that hot chick with cart blanche? <0> before Denmark, didn't you say? <6> K_F: Just get a number 3 <0> Pizbit: hehe <3> K_F: Im going to get some drunk chick to do my hair, given that she seems to have taste :P <0> :) <6> I'm off, night! <0> Pizbit: night <1> Night, Pizbit <4> K_F: It's OK. Sometimes we need to vent about our ex-es. It keeps us sane(r). <0> Jostein: well, I have an appointment at Torgbygget at 1430 anyways <0> Ka-bar: yeah, IRC has been a very good venting place <0> but sorry for bothering everyone to death <0> not like I have a life or anything <0> at least I get to bug Jostein some IRL :) <4> heh <7> Is there any apps that can stream a live brodcast over the internet liek shoutcast from say like a mic? <7> s/liek/like <0> ImNotMark: icecast? <7> I wasnt awware that was able to do so. <2> ImNotMark: And who's going to listen to you? <0> whyzzyrd: some very weird person? <7> whyzzyrd: What K_F said. <1> ImNotMark: You'll probably need something like iveice in addition to icec***t <1> err, liveice, even <0> hehe <7> I'll have to look into it, my band wants to stream its practices over the inet live. <0> okay, I'm off <0> hopefully some hot chick there.. <2> K_F: And if there is, bloody talk to her.. <8> hello. I have a simple question. If let' ssay, I don't have the source tree from apache was installed, how can I see the compile options? How can I see the configure line options? I don't ask for httpd -V I ask for a script to see the command line used for compile. <9> obviously you can't since the program itself doesn't record the configure options by default, dspam does iirc <9> (for example) <8> Thank you, Sunblade. I agree. I don't have the config.log, but I wonder if there was a possibility to see some of that kind... <1> You're mixing two things now. 1) Apache's configuration, as fed to ./configure and 2) the compiler options <9> I ***umes he meant ./configure options <9> s/es/ed/ <8> Coma I must say. In the config.log ussualy I have a line Invocation command line was <1> Might as well been gcc optimisations ;) <10> anyone still use 'eddie' for load balancing? <8> My question was how to see the "./configure" options used for compile, if I don't have this config.log ..as phpinfo() do. <1> Arasel: That sort of info gets rarely embedded in binaries <11> Arasel: you can get a rough idea of what was turned on from a certain flag to the httpd executable, but I dont remember which ones <1> There's apache's -V option, which is hardly of any use <11> -l for modules <12> /top <12> hmm, damn spaces <2> /poke <1> /smoke
