Then at 3 am someone from the bar called police because two of us [we were 30 peoples there] beat to death a comunity policeman. Nice lights anyway. :) <8> i have tried yum install rpm-build but it don't work <9> damndolla: Um, it's called "rpmbuild", and is part of the regular rpm package, so you shoudl have it already <8> when installing MailScanner, the system asks for it, it says no rpmbuild or rpm-build treefound <9> damndolla: You were running fedora, right? <8> yes fedora 4 <5> damndolla MailScanner come as rpm, as far I know. And I don't see the reason this package need rpmbuild. <9> Lessee... <9> damndolla: Install the rpm-build and rpm-devel packages and see if that works <8> this is the error message when installing MailScanner <8> Your /usr/src/redhat, /usr/src/RPM or /usr/src/packages <8> tree is missing. <8> If you have access to an RPM called rpm-build or rpmbuild <8> then install it first and come back and try again. <6> O_o <4> hey <4> some of you know about ati drivers? <9> carlos: Other than people complaining about them? <8> sorry fellows, didn't know the rules. <9> damndolla: Meet hellhound, our guardian <4> I've instaled the driver but when the system reboot the x server do not respond <8> :P Coma <9> Just don't paste too much crap in the channel, use a pastebin <4> i had to uninstall it <8> great .. <4> do you know any method to install it wihtout problems? <5> damndolla I see, you are trying to compile MailScanner, and not install from rpm. You need rpm-build and zlib zlib-devel. damndolla <5> yum install rpm-build <9> carlos: Follow ati's documentation perhaps? I don't know the specifics though, only owning nvidia vidcards
