<7> TenBaseT: Look at it this way: In WWII a soldier had a pack that weighed as much as current ones full do. The difference was that those held very little since everything was big, bulky and heavy. Now we have smaller gear that's lighter and takes up little space. Why do the rucks weight he same? because nowadays we haveto carry more ammon, batteries, radios, armor, etc, etc. Same weight, it's just that you get more.
