<16> pretty funny; I opened up a command channel, gave the command to list a newsgroup and checked my input buffer. Nothing. Another beer went down and I still couldn't figure it out. I re-wrote the code to use output buffers, direct output channels, etc. Nothing! Finally I inserted a sleep() loop to make it wait for 5 seconds after issuing the command. BINGO :P
