<6> in the mid 90's...we managed to qualify a petition which would have applied term limits to every elected official in the state (including judges)...it p***ed by 75% in '94, in 1995, the court ordered that the ballot question be split into 2 parts (which violated the constitution), since ballot questions p***ed in ONE election must be submitted in the same form in the NEXT election...the vote on term limiting judges failed (what a surprise)

As you can see now with our federal governement just because one party controls two or even three branches of government it doesn't mean one rubber stamps what the other does. 2. An election would have to be close for a court to have to pick the winner. If its a landslide they won't even be involved.
