<0> hi all
<1> yep, it could be pretty easy to get a virus on mac, and yea, the antivirus needs to run all the time, just like windows, infact I am looking at McAfee for osx, I use McAfee for win
<2> Lion-O, hello you still there?
<2> Lion-O, : remember me? I asked you about configuring linux client for ISA server
<2> !ping
<2> I worked around to connect chat IRC, Gaim etc
<3> hehe, Lion-O has fans..
<2> now I am working on Email and then I will have my linux client working on a network with ISA server :)
<2> I am feeling so happy
<4> aww
<4> that was a bit nasty
<4> he actually read and, like, learned stuff, and stuff
<3> Cynic: he should stay of the drugs.
<5> Cynic: and we're supposed to put up with !ping crap?
<6> no
<4> admittedly, that was stupid. if i wasn't so happy-drunk i would have been less tolerant, i guess.

<6> indeed tron, get some coffee!
<7> Anyways. Mornin'
<8> Oke have a f*cking wierd thing, i have linux router 3 nics 0 = Inet-1 , 1 = LAN 2 = Inet-2, i recently added inet-2 and the router itself worked fine with the 2 inet connections, because i want to have some dest IP's using inet con2 and all the other traffic trough inet1 i did set up different routing tables for both interfaces, like http://lartc.org/howto/lartc.rpdb.multiple-links.html#AEN298
<4> evenin' Tron
<8> Point is in tcpdump it looks like source and dest are nicely translated with right source ip and it indeed tries trough eth2
<8> while i did use iptables fwmark, with ip rule fwmark
<8> But strange thing is that i don't get the connection
<6> Tron: Ohayoo gozaimasu.
<9> care le are cu scanerele de windows shi cu rooturile? prv plz
<6> Lucyan: Speak English.
<7> Lucyan: We speak English here, retard.
<10> Lucyan: #linuxfrenchnotenglish
<10> or somethin like that
<4> heh
<7> From a primitive scanning of the ROmulan, looked like it was looking for WIndows root sploit scanners or something.
<4> yeah, it was Romulan
<7> It was looking for something retarded and annoying anyways.
<7> Ah. The caffiene takes effect.
<8> look at my pastebin tcpdump
<8> http://pastebin.com/590447
<8> 192.168.2.10 is the ip of the eth2 wich is connected to 192.168.2.1 (which is the adsl router)
<10> ****in christ...3am
<11> you ****ed christ at 3am ?
<11> WTF?
<10> only on saturdays
<8> could anyone just take look..? i don't get any further on this
<8> in google i only find unsolved same questions
<4> struct2: so the problem is obviously at the point where inet2 delivers to lan, or where lan delivers to the NAT'd addresses.
<8> hmm why? it is translated right?
<8> or you mean the route most be ok but i have screwed up something in iptables?
<8> because what i am trying is to access www.whatismyip.com from of the routed it self
<8> so not from a NATd machine on the lan BEHIND the router
<4> hrm. you know... *my* tcpdump logs don't show NAT translation. it's odd that yours do. i am using an old version though. so, uh. *shrug*.
<8> iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o $IF_INET2 -j SNAT --to-source $IP_IF_INET2
<8> thats what i did to arrange the source rewrite, and i ***ume it works because it showed up tcpdump
<12> without using the FORWARD chain I doubt it'll work.
<7> Lion-O: Morning. ;)
<12> goodmornin'
<10> morning peter. gettin up kinda late, aint ya?
<12> Tron: and how are you? You're early so it seems.
<10> its what, 9am there?
<12> Steakk: its 10. But getting online != getting up ;)
<10> good point
<10> wait, I thought UK was +6 from me
<10> unless all of my clocks are off by an hour, heh
<11> daytime saving
<11> screwed my day
<5> Steakk: but Lion-O isn't in the uk..
<10> i thought he was
<10> OH, NL?
<10> Norway? pakistan?
<10> heh
<10> **** it, i dont rememebr
<5> Steakk: Netherlands ph00l.
<10> thats right
<10> OH, legal weed!
<12> Meea no in tha UK :-)
<10> i know that now...sheesh, read up on your screen :P

<8> Lion-O i was away , you mean i would be able to use 2 different connections from of the router it'self?
<8> only from of the systems behind the router?
<12> struct2: I only meant what I said.
<10> we'd never get away with all this in our play, but if its loudly sung and in a foreign tounge, its just the sort of story audiences adore, in fact the perfect opera...
<10> sweeet, my comment that was taken out of context earlier about me bending over and asking for more didnt make it into the topic.
<10> no you dont
<8> Lion-O what wont work the POSTROUTING line or using the ip rule with fwmark -m prerouting
<4> Steakk: you asked for it ;)
<10> Cynic: I did no such thing
<8> output chain goes trough postrouting, input comes first trough prerouting
<4> struct2: i think you should probably read netfilter.org and lartc.org's documentation more
<12> struct2: if you know what the FORWARD chain does, IMO you should when using pre/post -routing you know what I meant.
<4> NightHack: go away
<7> Heh. I was just waiting for it to say something stupid.
<12> Tron: would it help if I said something stupid? ;)
<7> Lion-O: *grin*
<8> hmm i did read both pretty well, but it seems that i am missing the issue
<12> well, it seems my 10am meeting has at least a 30 min. delay. I bet they're enjoying a traffic jam.
<8> welcome to the netherland:P
<7> Looks like the PFY is going to be late. Again.
<4> Tron: he needs a scare
<12> Thats gonna be fun. If they arrive at 11am (for example) we need at least 30 - 45 minutes. And they have another meeting at 12 :P
<13> m00h?
<12> Tron: you know how it is; good personal usually comes in a little late but comes out even later.
<4> hey PW
<13> Tron: Maybe you should kick him out earlier then too :)
<12> Tron: unless you hired PolarWolf, in that case I think he has a very acceptable excuse ;-) Mornin' PW.
<13> Lion-O: Mogguh
<12> PolarWolf: I didn't knew you could irc from work. Luxeourious ;)
<13> Lion-O: Work?
<12> uh oh
<13> Lion-O: Vacation, you mean
<12> PolarWolf: dude.. Its freezing outside.. Oh wait; you guys going to head up North again?
<13> Lion-O: We are headed up north already
<12> PolarWolf: don't tell me you're travelling as we speak? :)
<13> Lion-O: -12C or so
<13> Lion-O: Naw, arrived on sunday
<12> aaah
<12> PolarWolf: oh, you were right. 'Batman begins' is another 'so so' movie. I was most of it last evening.
<13> Lion-O: I'm always right
<13> Lion-O: Go watch 'Sin City'
<7> Heya PW
<13> Tron: Ey
<7> Aye SIn City is t3h g00d m0v13
<5> Tron: he being way-laid again?
<7> whyzzyrd: Looks like it.
<12> PolarWolf: I did. Very nice flick IMO but it gets a little boring since all the Tarantino movies seem to have "plot twists" in them (KB / SC)
<5> Tron: what time's he supposed to turn up for?
<7> whyzzyrd: 9:30
<4> luxury!
<13> Tron: Do you have flexible hours?
<7> whyzzyrd: *shrug* It's not as if I'm the greatest timekeeper ever either.
<12> Tron: oooh, lazy luxioury!
<7> Lion-O: I'm in by 8:30 too.
<13> As long as he clocks in his contract hours, you're SOL
<12> PolarWolf: not always. You can expect a person to be in on a certain time frame (when you need him the most).
<5> I tend to be in for 8:30. Only way to make sure I get parketh.
<13> Lion-O: Sure, but only when agreed upon first
<7> PolarWolf: He does more than his fair share of hours, so I usually let hium off with an amusingly sarcastic comment when he finally deigns to grace us with his presence. ;)
<5> Lion-O: Many contracts specify key hours.
<12> PolarWolf: thats true.
<13> Lion-O: If you say "come in anytime you like as long as you clock your hours", well...
<12> Tron: rofl
<7> PolarWolf: "Afternoon!" (It's still morning) "What happened this morning then? Solar flares?"
<13> Tron: Aye, same for us
<13> Tron: Formally we have to be in by 9
<7> PolarWolf: WHat, the solar flares? ;)
