<2> whyzzyrd: I generally like heavier wines, rioja-region especially. French wines you often have to go to a higher price to get good quality, although there are some specific not-so-familiar regions where you get good wine... as a drinking wine south africa as well have some ok wines

<4> tojoe: If you can get it, try any of the Malesan Bordeaux. They're a huge concern. One of their most reasonable wines for cheap is called "La Croix d'Austeran", which I pay 3E a bottle for in .fr
<4> tojoe: they also do "fierte de malesan", which translates as "The Pride of Malesan" which is good, and Les vielles vignes de malesan is their oldest vines, which is nice..
