I thought the legendary one was at the chineese place.. <2> far right, Tron <4> trons the black hair one coma i think is the other one?
<2> far left Coma <1> who's that guy with the bald head? <4> wlfshmn no the legendary giggle wa sin the bar <2> the flash makes tron look like a greasy italian ;) <4> it became because of the pack of ciggys in that photo <0> wlfshmn: *grin* <3> Tron isn't a greasy italian? <0> PolarWolf: greasy, not italian <3> Jostein: Hehe <2> PolarWolf: I've made no statements regardign that. I only commented on looks. ;) <4> lmao indeed <3> He was sweating a lot. Warm and all. <2> I do wonder why that album contains pictures of clevages though <4> blame dave LOL <0> heh <2> http://s22.photobucket.com/albums/b319/RebeccaMaynard/my%20pics/?action=view¤t=PIC_0063.jpg <2> and that would be the crowd busy making up IRC logs with pen and paper <4> yer i cant remember what i wrote now just hi i think <3> Hmm, those pages should still be somewhere <2> no doubt someone scanned those at some point ;) <3> Yeah <4> lots of comments on me i think <4> but it was so many years ago I can't remember LOL <2> ah, there: http://s22.photobucket.com/albums/b319/RebeccaMaynard/my%20pics/?action=view¤t=PIC_0018.jpg <7> Bah. I'm not normally greasy looking. It was exceptionally hot and humid that day. <2> perfect picture of the other utterly bored gf ;) <6> who's poor gf was it? <3> Phil's <7> Scottish people generally do not like hot and humid. And after a lot of beer you generally do start sweating rather profusely. :) <2> I seem to recall it's was a canadian who brought his english gf, but I don't remember names ;) <2> ah, Phil <3> wlfshmn: Forgot 'r name <2> that was good food though <4> pacific :) <4> waves to tron and points the finger at him for the legendary giggle again LOL <7> Becky: Well I found it rather easy to make you giggle. ;) <7> Easy target. <2> Tron: Ofcourse. It seems practically all females are ticklish ;) <6> Tron: When are we going to bother meeting again? <6> wlfshmn: my wife can turn ticklish on and off at will.. <7> wlfshmn: Heh <4> yes i think i was rather still innocent back then Tron it wanst hard to make me giggle and go fire engine red <4> im not ticklish <2> whyzzyrd: between tiscklish and pissed off? ;) <8> you don't want a girl I know to start giggle <8> you'd wake up the entire neighbourhood <6> K_F: heh <8> that is a loud pitch <2> sounds dangerous <6> wlfshmn: no, ticklish and not ticklish. <7> whyzzyrd: I don't believe we've actually met yet. I remember some abortive attempt where I went all the way up to St. Andrews and tried to meet up with steg, who suddenly that day made himself extremely unreachable. I can't remember if I tried to contact you that day. <8> personally I laugh rather hard, apparently from my stomach, so it gets a loud hum <6> Tron: I only had contact details of you via steg <8> but thats ok, requires a great deal to get me laughing in the first place <7> whyzzyrd: I was slightly annoyed at steg that day. Driving to St. Andrews is a non-trivial - even in Scotland :) <6> Tron: that indeed. <7> whyzzyrd: And it was ****ing cold.
<5> *burp* <2> well, always nice with "new" music <6> Tron: if we'd managed to meet up, it would have been not 100% useless. And we could have had a pint.. <7> whyzzyrd: *nod* <7> whyzzyrd: SO every time since then I've been up to Scotland, I've not even bothered to try to meet up with steg because he's unreliable. <2> Tron: If it's too warm in MAnchester, and too at St Andrews, where the heck -do- you feel comfortable? ;) <2> s/at/hot at/ <7> wlfshmn: I didn't feel too cold, it was cold for my wife and at that point very young son. <4> it depends on the timne of year really manchesters mainly cold and rainny expet for round about the summer holidays which is when most places are warm <7> wlfshmn: As long as it's about 17-18 degrees Celsius I feel pretty comfortable. When we went up to St Andrews it was winter if I recall correctly, there was frost on the pavements and gr***, and there was an Easterly in-shore breeze blowing. Pretty chilly for a Japanese and a baby. <7> wlfshmn: When we had the #linux meet in Manchester it was unbelievably hot and sunny. Not one of my favourite conditions for existing on this planet. :) <2> You would imagine .jp, as an island nation, gets it's share of cold nor-easterners <7> wlfshmn: *nod* Oh yes Japan gets its fair share of snow B) <2> I seem to recall it beeing 30C or some such in MAN, and every single brick radiating heat of it's own <2> and there is apparently a few bricks in that city <7> wlfshmn: Indeed, and that was furing the night too :P <7> wlfshmn: In fact I think the briscks were glowing slightly. <2> saves on streetlights ;) <7> heheh <7> If there were to be another Meet it'd better be during the next couple of months as I'll be heading off to Japan later this year. <2> Tron: That, or we are going to have the meet a lot further off ;) <7> wlfshmn: That would be pretty cool :) <7> wlfshmn: A #Linux Meet in Akihabara. All the nerds would have multiple orgasms ;) <2> Tron: A mob of #linuxers invading the seedier parts of tokyo ;) <7> Haha <2> then again, I tihnk tokyo hasbeen nerdproofed by now <7> "20 Foreigners deported after causing night of chaos and mayhem in Kabuki-Cho area of Tokyo" <4> lmao <2> it's also no stranger to mobs of gibbering overexited people <8> god damn swedes <2> if their TV is anytihng to go by. The entire country is on speed. permananently. <8> a damn steering wheel loosened in 70 km /h <7> "It was horrible", said one alleged Kabuki-Cho gangster, "we couldn't handle them - especially the guy with the katana..." <2> Tron: That sounds like shadur ;) <7> wlfshmn: Bingo B) <2> but surely .jp cops carry a katana as a sidearm? ;) <7> wlfshmn: No, they use guns. GUns are far moer effective :P <9> *BOOM* <2> Tron: oversized guns twice or thrice as tall as they are? <2> Tron: atleast for the female officers <2> wtf.. my office is starting to smell like dogfood.. <7> wlfshmn: Nah they'll probbaly be issued with Glocks or something similar. <2> and I dond't even bring lunch today! <9> Here we go ;) Cheap rides these days. Mornin' guys.. And what a fine cold and chilly free day it is. The perfect day not to get out of the house since all shops are closed anyway. <2> Tron: nah, the japaneese seem to hav ea fondlness for designing their own <7> Lion-O: Chilly? It's pretty mild in London again. <7> wlfshmn: I have no idea what they use. <2> Tron: Their military uses Type 89, built localy by HOWA Machinery Co <2> Tron: although they did license parts from an american company <9> Tron: good to know, let me pack a sweater and get going then ;) <9> oh wait; too chilly for that ;) <7> Lion-O: Heh. Define "chilly" :P <9> Tron: under 10 degrees celcius <9> or nearly there. <7> Lion-O: That's pretty chilly for the time of year. <9> Tron: lemme get the official figures <7> Lion-O: Ah okay I know why - there's a big high pressure system slap bang over the UK. You're on the Eastern side of that, and it'll be dragging down cold air from the north. <9> Tron: I mixed up... at night it was approx 4 - 5 degrees, now its approx 14 - 15. <2> here we are having pretty good weather <4> its nic ein manc today two <2> 16+ and sunny <7> wlfshmn: same here <2> forecasts says it's suppsoed to keep more or less throughout the week <7> wlfshmn: Forecast says it's to get to 25C here today. <7> wlfshmn: WHich means good old London Underground will be about 34C with high humidity and lots fo fainting in the carriages. <2> Tron: Goodie ;) <2> Tron: Does your local transportation system also like to provide extra space heaters that they seem to be utterly unable to turn off in case of good weather, and unable to turn on in case of bad weather? ;) <4> doesnt it always? <2> if you are lucky, the busdriver is able to get the skylights opened a bit for some airflow, but more commonly, that isn't possible, and you find yourself eyeing the emergency hammer (if it hasn't been stolen yet) <7> haha <7> wlfshmn: Yes. <2> Tron: Some things are universal
