<3> I am doing as root... I have 3 nics in this sytem.. with three diffrent ip ranges... 192.168.0. 192.168.1. 192.168.2. The .0 and the .1 are #com 3c95x cards.. I can ping there networks just fine... though card was bad, swapped card with another.. even tried moving over to a via 6122 based card (via-velocity)... still can't push packets over even the via based card...

<3> the box worked before.. with 3c950x nics... two internet connections with load balancing... but Internet network also pushes HD video streams to media centers arround the house from servers raid array.. 100Mbit network was the bottleneck.. hence the upgrade to 1000Mbit
