<0> uh-huh. mail, security, pam modules <1> LouCypher: Install the mysql package, and possibly mysql-devel <2> it is installed <0> needs the mysql client package <2> Welcome to the MySQL monitor. Commands end with ; or \g. <2> Your MySQL connection id is 2 to server version: 5.1.9-beta <3> ls /usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so, find / -name "..." then cp ... /usr/lib/mysql ... it's quite simple. <1> LouCypher: It might be looking in the wrong place, e.g. it resides in /usr/lib/ and not /usr/lib/mysql/ <2> in usr/lib i can find it <2> /usr/* <2> wonder if it will work with cp <1> Symlinking would be a little wiser <3> ln -s ... <2> yeah <2> it worked <2> :)
<2> done that <2> thank you for your help <3> go go LouCypher ! <2> first day at work after graduation :D <2> as soon as i entered the door was like you must do that, and that, and that, and that and would have gone like this for hours ... if it wasn't for my coffee break :D <3> ouch, it seems that you can forward me some beers, take your friend "seconds" and let us enjoy tonight at "del vechio" pub? <2> hum ... cifre is in bucharest ... <3> me too, but I'll come home today. <4> hello there! <4> hey, what's in here? <3> sensual_ange check the topic, channel faq, then ask. <4> i'm a newbie. <3> sensual_ange we all are/were newbies someday of our life. Just hanging arround will not make you a geek. Just follow this channels rules, and you are welcome. :) <5> script for @? <4> :) <5> doesnt that sound sorta ... kiddieish? <5> heh <1> I wonder if I can trust it <3> don't trust it:) <5> lol <5> hehehe <3> say/says* <6> can anyone help us? we're a uk company and we're having trouble with our suse server <7> Graham-, please go to http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html and pay careful attention to the suggestions there. It'll improve your chances of getting a useful answer. <6> i see. well we'd rather talk to a human being <3> Graham- follow the advice. Make sure you're understand what is it's scope, anyway. <6> thing is it's fairly urgent <3> than explain in one line what kind of problem do you have, And take care, this is not a help channel, as is explained in channel faq. <1> Then why haven't you set apart what the problem is, what you've tried to resolve it and what the result of that was? <2> Arasel, is there a server like pastebin where i could paste some code ? <6> ok sorry thanks for trying to help <3> LouCypher yes, there are just google for it. <2> os .. better said some errors <6> we're using suse we had a problem with electrical storms and the modem broke <6> we've replaced it with a more modern dsl router and suse isn't picking up the external ip <7> Graham-: There's good reasons we point people at that page when their first question is to the general tune of "I have a problem, can anyone help me?" <7> Graham-: What kind of DSL router/connection? <6> d-link <7> Ick. Not my favorite kind. <6> it's connected to our isp ok <1> Graham: If it's a _router_, the box behind it will never get the external #ip, but rather use one from a non-routable range <7> Is it set to bridging mode or is it supposed to do NAT? <6> i've not ticked nat <2> please take a look at this ... hope you can help me with this too http://pastebin.ca/78652 <1> Which means it'd act like a bridge or what? <6> sorry we're all a bit lost here we're not very technical <6> i don't know sorry <3> Graham- are you sure, the old modem doesn't have some configuration setup on it? If it has, you can configure this new one, simply on it's web-like interface . <6> we're using the web interface <6> it says the dsl is connected <3> I see, maybe you must add some i.p./routes there. it check only the connection not the activity from/to LAN. <6> should we turn NAT on? <7> Graham-: How does the router get an IP address? Does it have to log in with a username and p***word, or does it get one via DHCP? <1> Graham: You could try that, but then you might also need to turn on the build-in dhcp server in order for the server to get an ip address ***igned <6> it logs in with username and p***word to our isp <6> the modem has recognised the external ip but not suse <7> Graham-: Configure the router to provide NAT. That should do the trick.
<6> ok ta <8> hi * <6> do you guys want an ice cream in payment? :) <8> no, just euro <6> lol <6> still not worked still coming up with the modem ip on startup <3> Graham- or cold beer :D let's say 50 bottles are enough. <6> sure thing <3> Graham- I think there are suse firewall rules ? <6> yes there are <6> we tried disabling that tho <3> is your suse server using something like alocal i.p. e.g. 192.168. or 10.10 .. ? <6> it's working!! <6> google has come up! <3> wow, this means microsoft died:F <8> lol <2> anyone had a chance to check that url ? <2> http://pastebin.ca/78652 <1> Some sweet url! <2> yeah ... but what it contains ? <3> LouCypher dependencies . <3> LouCypher not so sure try export LDFLAGS=-lstdc++ <8> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGJpx2Sxsns OMG <8> SFW <1> Hah, exactly what the crowd deserves! <8> lol <1> You wanna see bullfighting?
