<1> alright all that effort for a non working notes client
<2> anyone knows if the size you specify on maildirmakes quota option is in (k)bits/bytes/block or whatever?
<3> It's in atoms!
<3> Oh, was I too late?
<3> Morning, Lion-O
<2> haha
<2> Coma it must be, else the numbers dont make any sense
<4> Hi guys! Coma / tojoeWRK / wlfshmn / Sunblade / $others
<5> re all ;)
<1> hi Lion-O
<6> hi! I am french
<2> gawd dammit, f'n maildirquota is a bitch
<3> poor you
<2> guess i'll stick with qpopper and hard fs quota

<1> what's the point in saying he's french ?
<5> Sunblade: Otherwise we wouldn't know to ignore him
<7> guys have you read that stuff about MONDEX
<7> ?
<7> and the apocalipse?
<5> no
<7> freaky ****
<8> Hi! I've a little question. I've built a raid0 with mdadm (first i've put "fd" for the partition types in fdisk), the raid is working, but when I reboot the computer, the raid is not growing auto, I've to do a mdadm -As at every startup, does someone know why?
<7> wlfshmn: http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl_mondex_biochip.htm
<9> hey eveyone
<5> tavi-san: why worry about an urban legend? ;)
<3> Wrack: Missing an initscript perhaps?
<8> nope nope i don't think so
<8> mdadm is loading
<8> but it seems that it can't mount the raid auto
<3> But you're sure you have an init script present that ***emles the set?
<8> mhhhhh
<8> which scripts do u have?
<3> One ***embles arrays, the other just starts mdadm
<8> mdadm-raid for ***embly?
<8> and mdadm for loading mdadm?
<3> Wrack: in this case it doesn't matter much though, since I use autostart (my boot partition is also on the raidset)
<3> Wrack: Yup
<3> Sounds like you're on debian too ;)
<8> sure
<8> =)
<8> mhhhh strange
<8> /etc/init.d/mdadm-raid start when i do this, it starts the raid.... and this script has a link to rcS.d too, but the raid is not starting at boot
<8> how is it possible hehe
<3> Wrack: Oh, you might want to check /etc/default/mdadm then
<8> mhhhh this file looks ok
<3> So you have autostart enabled there?
<8> yes
<3> And after booting, when it has failed to ***emble the array, can you run that init script manually and does it work then?
<8> yeah that's what i said
<8> when i run the mdadm-raid start manually
<8> it works
<8> without problem
<3> Hmm
<3> I still get the impression that the script isn't ran for some reason
<8> yeah
<8> but it is in rcS.d so...
<3> Heh, I don't have it enabled, so can't check what it does
<8> okay hehe
<8> but thanks
<8> it's not a problem if it's not starting auto... i just have to start it at everyboot, what should not happen very often
<3> Actually, if something doesn't work as advertised, it is a problem, imho
<8> hehe yeah
<8> but theses servers are only used to tests the harddrives
<8> so not a problem to load the raid at every boot
<3> Oh well
<3> Gawddammit
<3> Since when does firefox stop people from accessing localhost:515?
<7> lol
<7> that happened to me too when i tried to access webmin :)
<5> huh?
<3> All fine and dandy, but HTF do you turn this **** off? I don't need a browser to "protect" me
<3> This address is restricted
<3>

<3>
<3>
<10>
<3> This address uses a network port which is normally used for purposes other than Web browsing. Firefox has canceled the request for your protection.
<3> Ick
<3> Damn fscking #*(^&%^@#
<3> Hey, it's all firefox's fault!
<11> tom petty's new album is pretty rockin
<3> Ahh
<5> Coma: oh?
<3> http://www.mozilla.org/projects/netlib/PortBanning.html
<12> Coma: be serious.
<4> so firefox can now participate in irc too. Amazing ;)
<12> er
<12> Comet-: be serious. or are you baked
<4> yeah, be serious Coma ;-)
<3> D-side: IR Teh Serious!
<12> it was teh m1sf1r3
<12> un****ing firefox?
<12> sounds like an ORA book
<5> Coma: meh.. and here I was looking for answers in oh, say, about:config.. where I expected configuration to be alterable
<3> wlfshmn: Oh, you can create an entry there for ports you want to be able to access again
<3> It just isn't there by default
<5> Coma: atleast that makes fixing it less of a bother
<3> I get the idea that they don't want people to "fix" it. That's also why there's a big offswitch missing
<5> fair enough
<5> people -are- morons after all
<13> yup
<5> my damn CPU has been pretty much pegged for the last four hours..
<5> it's gotta be getting arather pissed at me
