<2> tavi-san: turns out I'm just stupid. The app IS wrong. I only get the wrong information about direct rendering with a 32-bit glxinfo if I chroot to my gimpy chrooted isntallation. running the 32-bit glxinfo reports that direct rendering is doin' fine
