<8> I understand, but like I said, I have *no* data to use as the querystring, because the form has not been submitted. Coming from PHP, the only way to use POST or GET variables is to actually submit the form or click on a link of data that has already been processed. I'm hoping JS does things differently in that respect.

When I fill in my data, submit it, it gets verified, the user clicks on another button which uses opener.location to point the parent page to a different page. Is there any way to "save" the variables entered in the first instance of the parent, and use those variables to fill in the form on
