<5> the diffrence is that maximized is a state, that makes the browser window dockable on the whole display, at wich point you can "deMaximize it" and it will get back to the original size

<5> if you change the window size to maximum, it will look as maximized, but it won't be. when you'll click maximize it will stay the same and the "deMaximization" will have no effect, as the original size is the same as the maximized size
