<0> Yeah <0> I was just about to say <0> :)
<1> oh, that guy! <0> Jay and Silent Bob... brilliant. <2> im writing a program thats supposed to solve sudoku-boards. find all the solutions. but im stuck :) cant seem to figure out how the method that does the solving shold look like. <3> the only thing which is a little annoying on Windows is the "adding up" of jre's and possibly jdk's. <3> Which reminds me of my plans to write a small netbeans plugin which allows to change the default jdk :) <3> Hoi Rob <3> Terning: "should look like" really doesn't mean much. After all; a method basicly takes input, can produce output and perhaps throws an exception. It depends on the program. Personally I'd try to break it down in little pieces. <2> Lion-O, no. but ill try to place a number in the "box", and if it thats ok, go to the next. a recursive method <4> Lion-O you a programming in java2 ? <3> huh? <4> nevermind
<3> well, when people call Java "slow" I can't help wonder if they don't actually mean the Windows overhead. I'm currently messing with my webapp on netbeans/PE9,but this time on Windows (XP). The laptop even has higher specs than my desktop, yet its slower. <3> Main differences; desktop 1.2Ghz Athlon which runs Linux, this laptop (2.8Ghz Intel mobile) runs XP home. <4> hi <4> i need an java compiler my code <4> what i need, Java SE ? <4> or JDK 5.0 ? <4> :) <3> you need to know the difference between the two. <4> :) <4> yea <3> http://java.sun.com/
