<1> first time for me...
<1> :P
<0> I don't understand what u want to do?
<1> import?
<0> import to what?
<1> cvs.dev.java.net
<0> oh u mean stick it into cvs?
<1> yes
<0> heh right
<1> im sorry but i never learned it
<1> :P

<0> cvs import -m projectModuleName

<0> something like that
<0> http://www.felixgers.de/teaching/cvs/import.html
<1> okey i imported
<1> dunno if i did it rigth though;)
<0> try checking it out
<1> well i see on web interface
<1> https://netlines.dev.java.net/source/browse/netlines/
<1> can i delete what i've just sent?
<1> :P
<0> if you have delete access
<1> hehe
<1> dunno:)
<1> im project owner:)
<0> ah then yes heh
<1> plus i submited binaries which dont work:P
<0> u need to ensure they're submitted as binary
<1> huh:P
<0> well through wincvs it will automatically submit it as a binary
<0> dunno how u do that via CLI
<1> will see:P
<0> heh worth a go
<1> then i'll checkout.. copy over from my source and commit
<1> rigth?
<1> :P
<0> yep
<1> good
<1> :)
<0> http://www.wincvs.org/shots.html#GCVS
<0> fyi
<1> seen it... but not in gentoo portage
<0> ok
<1> and kde version looks WAY better
<1> :))
<0> I just know what you're doing if you're using that!
<1> http://cervisia.kde.org/images/screenshots/HEAD/mainview.png
<0> hm the java port looks pretty
<0> hm so does the KDE version!
<1> ;)
<1> i already use k3b for cd burning
<0> java ver: http://www.smartcvs.com/smartcvs/highlights.html
<0> file compare looks like the IntelliJ version
<1> btw what exactly should i send to cvs?
<1> all netbeans project dir?
<3> hi there
<1> src only ?
<1> hi Creative1
<3> got a question for you guys, i have a 16million float value in ms sql. When I retrieve it in java i get a double like 1.600002E7 (something like that)
<3> it's ok if you count the decimal points, the E7 matches the 16 million but at the end of the number there is that extra 2
<4> CK - 00000788034, eMoney Market, $1,100.24
<4> ack sorry
<3> any ideas why the 16 millions become a 16000000.02 value?
<5> it's a float and you're doing getDouble?
<1> this java smartcvs looks good
<5> just a guess otherwise i'm blaming ms sql Creative1 :)
<1> java not guiltyx
<1> :)
<3> yes, get double
<3> i found the problem though

<3> http://www.mcse.ms/archive94-2004-12-1317080.html
<3> thanks for the help guys
<5> ahah as i thought :Z
<0> sorry wolfey went afk
<0> only your source really
<0> but u could have a seperate folder for project settings etc if u want to back it up in cvs
<0> which is what we do
<0> we also backup docs etc in a seperate module
<1> Deano|Wrk: well i still dont know how to delete it
<0> lol
<1> so be it:)
<0> u choose to delete the files
<0> then commit [your deletion changes]
<1> looks fine though
<1> cvs -d :pserver:guest@cvs.dev.java.net/cvs checkout netlines
<1> ;)
<6> Does anyone know how to introspect the variables names for a given method?
<1> http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/reflect/index.html
<6> parameter names rather
<1> you mean this?
<6> Only if there is some part of that tutorial that tells me how to determine the parameter names
<6> So, I doubt it
<6> Its easy to determine the parameter types
<1> http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/reflect/cl***/getMethods.html
<1> dunno
<6> Doesn't look possible, but thanks anyway.
<6> http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=545&messageID=13465
<7> anybody taken scjp cource/exam
<1> lagnat: well IDE gets info from javadoc
<1> lagnat: you could consider that
<6> Oh... very clever. Thanks.
<1> wookiee: havent found that in my region, and i smell it's expensive
<5> it's not expensive...only like $100
<1> sabre: i've seen it on IBM, only $1000
<1> for training.
<1> while official Sun's partner in my country, Marand, NEVER did it
<5> wolfey: i just mean the test
<5> i wouldn't take a course just for that exam
<1> never seen any test in Slovenia, closest was Austria
<5> surely they have testing centers there
<1> then they keep them very low profile:P
<1> or im just blind
<1> sabre: if you find the exam centre for Slovenia...
<1> :P
<5> wolfey: http://www.register.prometric.com/Centers.asp
<5> i just found 2 in slov
<1> oh ok:))
<1> thank U
<1> i should take that;)
<1> programmer or developer?
<5> take programmer first
<1> ok
<1> https://netlines.dev.java.net/
<1> got page working ;)
<1> a bit outdated screenshots
<1> but nevermind
<1> :))
<0> looking good
<0> I see CVS is working etc
<1> yes thank U;)
<1> sent mail to java.net manager to get it out of 'incubator'
<1> :PP
<1> ready to play it against me?
<0> heh
<1> ;)
<0> if I get a spare mo I'll take a look
<1> FINE;)
<8> i got a cl*** extending JFrame and using null layout and container. Any ideas on how to get the Frame/container to be scrollable. if height goes beyond the Y in setSize() ?
<1> instead of adding components to contentPane, add them to another panel
<1> create JScrollPane with that panel
<1> add JScrollPane to contentPane
<8> wolfey thanks. I created a new instance of JScrollPane and JPanel. added the buttons/labels to the JPanel and added the panel to scrollpane and then that to container. but it wont appear on the JFrame. no errors. Any clues?
