I want to put the java tutorial in a .hlp or .chm file... <9> it's already available in a wndows help format <9> I think it's on the archive page <8> I'll look better... <9> oh that may be the api <9> http://java.sun.com/docs/windows_format.html <9> looks like it's there <8> I've found following the links there a utility allowing me to convert the tutorial in a .hlp file <7> wlfshmn <0> razorz: hey there... <10> it just..****s <7> Clackwell <11> Anybody doing bluetooth? I have a gps that streams data via bluetooth. When I connect via the windows, it somehow creates a virtual com5 port, where an application can listen to the data. Is it possible to connect directly to this device via java? All help welcome <11> PS: it is not my homework :) <7> try google <7> there is the javacomm api <11> That is not supported for Windows anymore i think <7> maybe also check the bluetooth website <11> I went for some gnu package, but I could not connect to that com5 <0> javacomm is still available for Windows, Linux. <11> I fear its not: "... Implementations of the API are currently available for Solaris SPARC, Solaris x86, and Linux x86. ..." <0> hmmm, then I maybe confusing that for something else... Very possible, I have been messing with it on Linux. <12> you can still make it work in windows <7> there is a windows implementation <12> http://bdn.borland.com/article/0,1410,31915,00.html <11> that article looks nice. thanks <13> Javascrit ? <12> no <9> see topic, try #javascript <13> '00thanks <7> ahem <14> sorry <15> hi Thunder^ <16> Hey tera <16> did I tell you I got a new job? <15> No? <15> Congratulations ! <16> Thanks :-D <15> with the enthusiasm you got for programming I figured it would happen sooner or later. <15> I presume it comes with hmm... "extra benefits" ? <16> of course <15> nice <16> but its the third best programming language I need to program in of course <16> Java is no. 1 of course <16> C# is second <15> Oh? <16> and VB.NET is third <15> aha. <16> but its a BIG step up in the technology world of programming languages <16> the bottom of the bottom is PowerBuilder 7 (which I program in at current job) <15> you havent started yet ? <16> no.. starts in a month <15> Oh, I was thinking in terms of salary. <7> Thunder^ will be rich <16> well.. everything really matter of what comes to the account <16> exactly <16> rich in job satisfaction and richer in satisfaction of not working at current place <7> i rather take the money <16> oh but the money comes too in my case <16> a bit more than what I get now <15> Rob_uknow :) <7> how much more?
