Right now I have a cron job set up to periodically restore those permissions, but I would prefer to get to the underlying problem. Anyone have any ideas why this may be happening? <1> Lemmie go look that up. <6> cyclic: what user do you mainly use to do work in thos dirs? <5> it depends...either my user or root <5> thats what I was thinking may be it <5> what actions will flip permissions when I do them with root?
