<1> Ki||erBee, never quite worked out a good way of doing that.... i'm pretty sure it works, but i've never worked out a sneaky way of doing it without x.... even -injecting X doesn't work right 'cos a lot of stuff relies on x libs etc to build

<1> makes emerge create a bin package in /usr/portage/packages/ with whatever the ebuild would have installed.. check man emerge... there is -b and -B ... one builds, installs and save binpackage, other one doesn't do the install part
