<4> some of these machines just don't please me... ie. the local rsync mirror is pitiful, low cpu usage, and WAY better performance of the same disk via nfs.... so i'm thinking reiser might be good to test him....

<4> this is a p200mmx laptop, and it used to have tiny ram and 2 gig hd and gentoo, so i'm used to squeezing things for it... now i've got a 40g and 256m ram i can probably relax a bit tho...
