<0> she had 2 sisters
<1> The same people who sent them could have bothered to check her out as well
<0> 2+, rather
<0> *shrug* it's impossible to figure out why nobody checked on her
<2> hello
<0> hello
<3> and, no matter what you do
<2> h r u
<3> in a country with 300,000,000 people
<3> some people are going to be forgotten.
<2> yeah
<1> But you do agree that relatives tend to forget each other in your society.
<3> Yup, we're better off for it.
<4> I thought that happened in the UK, not the US
<1> So family values are lacking. "Who wants to check up on some old geezer with foul breath."
<1> Sometimes you have to do things that you don't like. And it helps when you consider how much the benificary appreciates it.

<1> vawjrwrk UK and US societies have many similiarities in this area
<4> that's an ***umption on your part
<1> vawjrwrk maybe. What do you think?
<1> About my generalisation of western societies.
<4> wrong, as most generalisations are
<1> ok
<3> ugh, what should I do about lunch.
<0> chineese
<3> hmmmm
<3> maybe.
<3> I want something kind of light.
<0> Subway...
<0> i've got leftover pizza and breaksticks
<0> breadsticks
<3> everyone serves too much food
<3> maybe I'll just get soup for lunch somewhere.
<3> http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2002927599_bcc13e.html
<3> I think people don't understand the meaning of unsafe anymore.
<0> Bellevue, I'll be there tomorrow evening ;)
<3> that's too bad.
<3> ok, lunch
<3> let's see.
<3> I don't know why I'm not hungry at all
<3> I wasn't hungry last night either.
<3> I guess I should stop eating.
<3> hmmm, so, light
<3> I haven't been to baja fresh in awhile.
<3> but, that's kind of a lot of food too
<5> back for 4hrs 33mins 14secs
<0> will be sure to time you
<5> bye all
<6> that was a quick 4hrs 33mins 14secs
<4> it's getting tough to keep the riff-raff out: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12294242/from/ET/
<4> of course, hwo beleives anything in the Washington Post?
<7> sweet
<7> my lead likes what i've done in my spare time
<7> so we've got a meeting to decide if we go with my work or stick with the work from another team
<7> as i personally can't stand their work =)
<0> heh
<0> good job
<7> i hope they sign off on mine, eat the cost of the other team, and move on
<0> is that your house, vawjrwrk? ;)
<7> i did what took 4 developers nearly a month to do in less than 3 weeks
<7> heh
<0> bah, I can't wait to get back to work
<0> I feel like JBlitzen
<7> and it's extensible, the code is consitently formatted and commented, and it works
<7> yeah, you = lazy bum
<0> haven't done anything productive in weeks
<7> i do need to change over one of my factory patterns to be configuration drive though
<7> driven
<0> I wanted to add p***ing arguments to constructors in my factory cl***
<7> i typically have an Initialize method on the iterface which i p*** an XML dom node too, for them to parse
<7> too = to
<0> ah
<7> that way they can have any number of custom attributes in the configuration file and the factory knows nothing about them
<0> i wanted to see if I could p*** them directly (with the constructor signature being a template parameter)
<7> well, hopefully our VP of Engineering will like what i've done too
<4> rd, no that's not my house, my house is at rudbek.com/personal.htm
<7> i loath the posibility of maintaining the existing code base
<7> and i've got work items that will practically require large code changes anyway

<7> JBlitzen's house was featured on several episodes of Cops
<8> peterhu yea, but you can hardly blame him for his momo's illegal "night job"
<8> mom's*
<7> no, momo's also accurate; it's the name of his pimp
<8> hehe
<9> Hi all!
<9> Need help here! TOTAL noob
<10> Pjott just ask
<11> And I'm NOT one of them who say: "Here's my MSN! Teach me C++"
<11> http://www.nomorepasting.com/paste.php?pasteID=60793
<0> http://www.rudbek.com/books.html <-- read
<11> Lukos: Done :)
<11> I have
<11> Well, I get lots of errors there
<0> get the first book on the list, and you'll be on your way
<10> Pjott: and don't give away your full name, location and age so easily.
<11> I have "C++ Beginners Guide" from Herbert Schildt
<11> Lukos: JUST thought about that
<11> But I don't care... Want my IP to? :p
<11> I know to be verry carefull on the internet
<0> terrible book
<0> consult the link I pasted
<11> Just forgot about that... But anyways. Back to my problem :) Want the debug errors?
<10> Pjott: what compiler are you using?
<11> rdragon: Maby you think so, but not me. I've learned alot from that.
<11> Dev-C++
<0> your problems start from line 1
<0> terrible book.
<11> #include <iostream.h>
<11> ?
<0> yes
<11> k
<0> you've learned a lot of misinformation
<12> c**
<11> Time to remove that, or add another one?
<10> change it to #include <iostream>
<12> c times times
<11> ah
<0> iostream.h went away in 1998
<12> c--
<0> you just need a real book, and need to start over
<0> throw Mr Schildt's book away
<10> Pjott: and add "using std::cout;" before main;
<11> Sorry if I might answer a bit "sloppy", but... Can we skip those books, then fix this? I'm going to order from Amazon.co.uk again, yes. Because when I read that book, it said: "Let's use Microsoft Visual C++". And almost NONE of the syntaxes is included in Dev-C++ or any other compilers.
<11> And also, he used: system("PAUSE")
<11> Could NOT use that
<0> because it's a piece of crap book
<0> real C++ is quite portable
<10> rdragon: but it's hardly useful for anything!
<0> eh?
<11> rdragon: I'm kinda starting to agree with you :s
<11> haha
<0> Pjott - trust us - that list of books is highly regarded around here, and many people here have been using C++ for years, as their day jobs
<11> Well, got debug error here: cin>>abc;
<0> and many think that Schildt's books are terrible
<13> people use c++ in real life?
<10> Pjott: that's "COMPILE" error, not a "debug" error!
<13> what is windows written in
<0> (and from your code, it's obvious how terrible it is)
<11> Well, I use Visual Basic 6.0. It's OK for writing Windows apps fast, but... Can't live with that for the rest of my life :s
<13> new OS will have 100,000,000 lines of code
<11> Wanted to start with the hard-core, wich was C++ or ***embly
<0> 100 million? doubtful
<0> nobody uses ***embly anymore, so trash that idea
<14> can C++ compilers be used on Symbian based mobile phones ?
<0> KaiTekk - if you have a C++ compiler for it, then yes of course
<10> Pjott: and add "using std::in;" before main too
<11> KaiTekk: Would have been cool, but I doubt it. Not Visual C++, and NOT Dev-C++'s MinGW
<14> well is there C++ compiler for symbian ?
<0> I don't know, ask google
<11> http://www.just****inggoogleit.com/ <-- I have NO ida of HOW many times I have been the one getting that in my face, but now it seems usefull :)
