<0> hello? <0> my DVD has dts track. How can I be sure that xine plays specifically dts track? <0> I mean, I see the menu for switching between different audio tracks <0> but it's not written there if a specific track is dts <1> how come you want specifically dts? isn't it enough that it's 5.1?
<0> because with 5.1, the Russian translation is not much louder than the English voices <0> and dts makes the translation louder <1> hm, strange.. <0> and dts is louder on this DVD, anyway <0> so I am lost <0> because I am using xine for the first time in my life! <1> I haven't used it for very long either, I just didn't know there were such differences between AC3 and DTS.. :P <0> please help! I press on Settings - Video, but don't see how I can adjust brightness and etc. <0> can someone tell me please? <0> help!! <2> hi... i'm having a problem... xine isn't recognizing any mpeg audio... everything works just fine with .avi but once i play .mp3,.mpeg,etc.. it plays the video but no audio (that is, after an error) <3> I'm having difficulty with playing an avi file. I think it's xvid or divx <3> It used to work, I'm running gentoo, and have all of the video useflags enabled. <4> what happens instead? <3> It barfs and says unknown error <3> sorry, barf is not a technical term.. <3> There is no input plugin to handle .... <3> (the file name)
<3> it has worked before <3> oh poo.. the file is of 0 lenth.. <3> length.. the error message was helpfull.. this file had worked before though.. :( <5> hi, should somebody look on this ogg file? http://kosmopako.net/uploads/test.ogg mplayer plays it till end, but latest amarok with xine-lib engine plays only 14 second ... is it problem of xine-lib or is it corrupted or some nonstandard ogg? <4> radfoj: 200 frames delivered, 2 frames skipped, 0 frames discarded <4> radfoj: maybe the header says there are only 200 frames? <4> hm... there's a bunch of nulls partway in, I wonder if that's related <4> yup <4> bunch of null bytes around 0x2EAC0 (191168) <4> I bet that's not valid... <4> if you cut the file off there you can tell that's where xine stops <4> maybe incomplete torrent? <5> its not mine file, on one czech linux board came guy with problems playing some ogg (link above was example) ... and another one tell there, he has the problem too (not with exact file, but another ones downloaded from some czech radio station) and he added, that this ogg files consist of few "logic streams" (checked by ogginfo) and he has to use other player to play them - vlc, mplayer or helix engine in amarok <4> ah that's exactly it... I guess xine only plays the first stream <5> ok ... and will xine play also the next streems? someday? <4> donno, I would it ***ume it should already for streaming stuff.. <4> it's possible the file isn't quite what it expects <4> you can try filing a bug <4> this is kind of confusing since I'm sure multiple sub-streams are used for streaming audio, and that shouldn't have problems
