<0> hey. i just grabbed the latest and greatest xine bits and a problem i've been seeing is still evident. can i discuss it here or should i just post to the list? <1> paugh: you could try, but the audience on the list might be bigger
<0> okies. well, xine reports the length (time) of many of my mpeg files incorrectly. usually the displayed length is about half the actual length. they play perfectly but the seconds tick by at half speed. the files in question were created from captured dvb transport streams. (trimmed and demuxed in projectX and remuxed via mplex -f8) the problem comes when i use qdvdauthor to master a dvd. qdvdauthor (presumably via libxine) gets the time wrong agai <0> n and hence the chapters are screwed. mplayer and all the hardware players i've tried don't seem to have problems determining the length. which might indicate that the problem lies within libxine. <0> actually i should check exactly how qdvdauthor derives the file length <2> hi
<2> I've a problem with this stream http://images.apple.com/movies/paramount/bee_movie/bee_movie-tlr1_h640w.mov <2> I can't open it
