<0> lmfao
<1> God... damn... monsters.
<0> Death from a spider bite in an urban/suburban area is almost unheard of, however.
<2> My GFs mother has often had to stop on the highway to get a huge spider out of the car
<0> In rural areas, even./
<1> Who cares about the bite?
<1> It's their existence...
<0> pfft **** existence.
<0> Just don't bite me.
<0> Munter: that is disturbing.
<0> having to pull over a car to rid it of a large spider would be a big problem.
<2> pjeide: Well, all school children are taught to know each dangarous type of spider so people can be treated with antivenom fast. Some spiders CAN kill you and they DO live in your garden in rural areas in Sydney
<0> bummer.
<2> People just learn to live with it and try not to walk barefoot in the garden

<0> it'd stink being allergic to bee stings.
<0> I've gotten stung many times.
<0> And can't image being close to death or even 'suffering' from a bee sting.
<2> yeah, bees or wasps, doesnt take much to get stung
<2> pjeide: If you are that allergic you carry around one of those injectors that clear up your throat again
<2> Of course, you might not know that you are allergic
<0> Still, being stung and having to inject yourself so you don't swell and die sounds like a bummer.
<3> and have the ability to bite
<0> I'd rather just say 'ouch'
<0> And continue on my way.
<1> Dude...
<1> :|
<1> The only spiders that are welcome here are Web crawlers.
<1> As long as they stay INSIDE the Ethernet cable.
<2> I've been stung many times. It's not as bad as it sounds. I dont have a problem smacking a wasp sitting on me even though it wasnt stinging me. You jut have to be fast enough
<2> And if you get stung you might learn not to smack an animal that can sting you :P
<0> My first sting was as a really little kid running through a field barefoot, and I stepped on a bumblebee/honeybee. Damn thing stung me and left half the bee stuck in my foot.
<0> I was mortified as a little kid.
<0> Every other sting since has been non-plus.
<0> It'd be terrible to be swarmed, though.
<0> 100, 1000, 3000 bees swarming around you, vicious and angry.
<2> I wouldnt want to try that
<2> We had a swarm settle in our garden once when I was a kid
<2> Had to call a guy to come get them
<0> Shoulda shot at them with a shotgun.
<0> I've always wondered what it'd look like seeing a hive get blasted by a shotgun..
<2> I dont think much would happen
<0> Dynamite, perhaps.
<0> yes, dynamite.
<2> I've seen a photo series of some guys that torch a swarm though :)

<0> http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7154755222481981962&q=toilet+dynamite
<0> Me and some friends with some dynamite.
<0> I am the one running out of the frame :)
<0> Not the one laughing, but the one who lit it.
<2> lol :)
<1> I see little black things flashing by all the time. If it is spiders...
<2> We had some fun with a toilet too recently
<0> yup, those bees got toasted.
<2> Me and some friends where making dinner for 200 students, and there where lots of leftovers
<2> So we dump it in the toilet, and it gets jammed :)
<1> You should've eaten it...
<1> Why did you have to make the food?
<2> We even made a photo slideshow clearin git
<0> lol
<0> I really enjoyed blowing that toilet up.
<0> With a whole stick of dynamite..
<0> One M-1000 and two M-500s.
<1> How did you get TNT?
<1> From Joe's Guns "R" Us around the corner?
<0> Mexico.
<1> I wouldn't dare to hold it.
<1> Who knows when it explodes in your face?
<0> hold it lighting it, or hold it at all?
<1> Holding at all, really.
<0> well I doubt it just goes off spontaneously.
<0> I had it placed when I lit it, and ran like a bat out of hell.
<4> hey
<1> :S :)

<0> An intoxicated bat out of hell, no less. Had I been sober I'd have been significantly more concerned for my safety while lighting the dynamite :)
<4> whats the best image hosting site that you would recommend? flickr, imageshack, photobucket,etc..
<0> Tarkus: depends on your needs.
<0> Tarkus: it sounds like you already have a pretty decent grasp of some of the potential candidates.
<0> Tarkus: jibber jabber wicker wack?
<4> pjeide, i just want something that i can keep track of and share. imageshack doesnt do that very well, unless you can keep a bookmark list of all the images. and flickr only allows yahoo users afaik..
<0> Tarkus: by 'only allows yahoo users' what are you implying?
<4> not sure about photobucket. because its down atm. lol
<0> You can view the pictures on flickr without having to be logged in.
<4> when i try to sign up, it requires yahoo ID
<0> So then sign up for yahoo, perhaps?
<0> In terms of keeping track of and sharing, flickr is excellent.
<0> And unless I am mistaken they recently increased the amount of upload capacity per/timeframe.
<0> On the free accounts, that is.
<4> yea, it looks really good. but i use my gmail account, and dont like having a seperate one for certain things.
<0> I believe there are paid accounts with significant capacity, as well.
<0> Tarkus: You are restricting your possibilities by virtue of your lack of willingness to do something as simple as opening a seperate account?
<2> pjeide: ah, here we go: http://machina.dk/AK2007/f%E5relokum.exe
<0> Tarkus: It is no wonder you are asking about photo sharing sites on a cascading style sheets channel.
<2> ***uming everyone in here has windows :P
<0> Munter: I am less than thrilled to download an exe.
<0> Munter: What does it contain?
<2> pjeide: A slideshow of us clearing out a bit too much food froma toilet :)
<2> pjeide: I didnt have time to do a web slideshow originally, and I never got around tomaking it
<0> .rar or .zip, please. not self-extracting exe
<2> anyway, not important, it was just in relation to your toilet dynamite :)
<0> i'd like to check it out, but not at the cost of launching an exe ;)
<2> understandable
<2> I dont have the files here though
<0> I don't use virus protection, and haven't gotten any malware for years to speak of, really.
<0> I must be very, very picky about what I execute, etc.
<2> Same here.
<5> so if i throw in a js calendar with my app, that's under the lesser GNU. Does that influence the rest of the licences on my code ?
<0> lol
<0> I railed Tarkus for asking about good photo sharing sites in this channel because I thought it was #css...
<0> huh
<2> :o
<2> I just tried Flickr the other day
<2> i filled my free monthly quota in the first upload :P
<0> hm
<0> chill out.
<0> ;)
<2> I jhavent gotten around to tagging and commenting everything yet
<2> it's just like 59 photos
<2> I think I might upgrade my account
<0> Munter: In terms of layout (not logo banner), http://petereide.name/gm/index1.html OR http://petereide.name/vegoil/spec1 ??
<2> My gallery on my home server cant really keep up anymore
<0> Also keep in mind one is a JPG and one is an actual page.
<2> pjeide: The navigation is hard to spot on the second one
<0> the Home/AboutUs/Contact or the Sponsors/etc?
<0> or both
<0> ?
<0> how about now, with them underlined in #2?
<2> pjeide: The bottom ones are more visible now. the top ones not so much
<0> Munter: how about now?
<2> pjeide: Better for usability
<0> So now #1 or #2?
<0> With the changes..
<2> I still like #1 better
<0> hmm ok
<0> ty
<2> hmm, yesterday we had a 30% increase in pageviews from one day to the other
<2> I wonder where that came from
<2> errh, 30% compared to the previous monday. sunday to monday is a 100% increase. Funny how people use their work time to visit our site
<6> http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/ -wow- that's a nasty splash screen
<7> Well, the guiness record site is definitly crappy
<7> say, if you switch to an other language, it breaks the mavigation
<7> navigation
<7> hehe
<7> amateur site
<8> hiya all... i'm reading linking to an image that is actually read from a db and sent to the client. I've set content-type (image/x-xpixmap, its a .xpm.gz) and content-length properly, but when i try to save the link, the browser tries to save it as a filename.xmp.gz.html instead of filename.xmp.gz is there any header i'm missing?
