<LjL> funkyHat: all you need to do is basically 1) start with an empty .wine dir 2) use winecfg to set Windows 98 3) install dcom98 *using the command line in the howto* 4) set Windows XP in winecfg 5) install google earth (ignore the missing dll) 6) run google earth *using the command line in the howto*
