<stoneage> hi, my own kernel works fine, except that my cpu gets MUCH hotter (computer shuts down after some time, but doesnt crash) under load than its get when using the ubuntu one... it's a athlon64 3200+ ... kernel with PREEMPT and 1000 Hz int timers
