<6> relachs, sudo dd if=/dev/hda5 of=/media/floppy0/linux.bin bs=512 count=1 - IF is InputFile. OF is outputfile. bs = block size. count = number of blocks. so youre telling it to read the first 512-byte block of /dev/hda5 - thats the boot sector of that partition
