<1> thechris: Cntryboy's problem is he mounted two FSs on the same mountpoint *and* his fstab doesn't match his real world. The right way to umount would have been to umount using the device name and in the reverse order from how the mounting was done. (try both orders -- see which works). This is because the 2nd mount isn't on the original mount point but on the root directory of the 1st mount. Of course, walking a newbie
