<14> basically I get a server crash when activating the nvidia kernel module taken off apt-get (or the propriotory drivers from nvidia) - I've tried pretty much everything. No error messages, the server freezes but the mouse still works. I'm thinking it could be a monitor/driver communication problem simply because glx seems to work ok if I connect to my machine with an nxagent and I kill gdm first
