<13> RamiK***ab, The thing I like about using vim, is that regardless of the situation, if it is a text file (ANY text file), written on ANY OS, I can edit it, thus, I can use it to configure my BIND dns config files, my apache.conf files, and other administrative files, plus do coding in Python, Java, C... Without having to learn new features just because I want to type a bit of SQL.

<14> k guys i think i figured out my issue with xgl... me any some other people just installed off of apt, and we all experienced the same problem: no gconf key. so tell people to avoid installing xgl until the bug if fixed.

<1> Dyegov[Away], the only thing I can suggest is using windows to create a drive you don't need, like E: . You can give that partition, and a bit of it for swap, to ubuntu.
