<11> tanubis: It should recognize that the version is newer than the one apt sees, and not install it. Still, it'd make sense to uninstall gaim with apt first before installing the new 2.0. That way there'd be no conflict... it'll either not match gaim 1.5 with gaim 2.0 (most likely), or it'll match and see that 2.0 is the newer version and not change anything.
