<14> admin:x:106:
<19> burepe2: from the sounds of things, you need to use the nvidia driver for this nic, available from here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_nforce_1.0-0261 - unfortunately it's a source module, & compiling it won't be straightforward for you - easiest might be to disable the onboard nic, & install something that is well supported - eg intel
<11> maddy_: you wouldn't want to, it's not very safe
<24> some one to help me with the unzip please ?
<13> thoreauputic i did use the expert install and selected for instalation all the packages

<14> neutrinom***, what packages are installed, among other things
<9> Frogzoo: why would it stop working after an upgrade to dapper. If i didn't need it before why would I need it now?
<23> how can I call the gnome-login instead of gnome-session?

<21> apokryphos, my dapper says unknown filesys type ntfs-fuse
<25> I've installed ATI driver package but X dosn't start because "Display dosn't recognized". How can I do?
<11> maddy_: in that case: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NTFSReadWrite
<3> PRINTER setup is asking me for a PPD file driver for my printer. Where do you find these???

<1> _Mr_Denix_: if you have 30 years or so we can go though the entire UNIX experience for you ;-) *grin*
<8> can anyone give me a hand with dualboot ?
<1> !b-e
<28> or if you get errors saying gcc cannot create executables, or that you can't find header files like stdio.h, or get "make: command not found, then you need to do a sudo apt-get install build-essential.
