<17> Synaptic v0.57.4 is "hung" downloading a package. This is Ubuntu v5.1. I selected "adduser" package to be reinstalled and clicked on "Apply". How can I troubleshoot and correct Synaptic issues ? (Other issue is that selecting "Reload" shows Downloading 22 Packages, but "Apply" button is not available after Download completes.

<11> gnomefreak Yes, I've filed bugs. I asked a question wondering if anyone else had come across the same issue to see if there was a temporary fix. It has been my experience that most people on irc are helpful. But not all.
