<10> spine Im am not certain but I believe you can set apps to only use one monitor...instead of trying to get the monitor to blank when using the app tell the app to only use 1 monitor

<11> Kr4t05: those are all kernel-modules, modprobe loads em. if it helps, you need them listed in /etc/modules so they load on_boot
