<15> popop, what do you mean by 'only others perms'? If you want to remove all rights for yourself, set the first digit to 0 (001 or 004). But remember that you *lose all access* as soon as you make that change

<15> popop, permissions of 711 for directory and 644 for files in the document root should be OK, as long as everything is owned by root. Those permissions ensure that apache can't write anything, but you can update the web site using sudo.
