<4> captine: You're resizing a different partition, so as long as you leave the recovery partition alone it will be okay. Manually edit the partitions carefully.

<4> memphis_: Okay, that's very odd that you have an error on a fresh system, but we'll go with it. First off, make sure you've run the disk defragmenter from within Windows before you start.

<19> When I try to mount a usb flashdrive I get the following error (It's in my fstab as /dev/sda1): "mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1, missing codepage or other error". How can I fix this? I have verified that the flashdrive is FAT, in fstab the filesystem is vfat, and in /dev there is only sda and sda1, both of which spark the same error.

<1> jinkiez: that's the smartest way. Linux is forgiving, windows isn't. you have to work with it if you want to have a dual boot system.
