<1> kkathman: yup, I decided to give it a proper go now, so I'm running it mainly now. Takes some time getting used to rpm and the package management system (or other general idiosyncrasies), but it's a fun learning experience.

<1> kkathman: key things for me at the moment, seem to be: suse is in general a far more polished (and hence user-friendly etc too) distribution, but it's a lot more lacking repository-wise. Needless to say, they're a lot better than last time I ventured into them.
