<4> http://www.i-nz.net/files/tmp/i-nZ_Desktop.png
<1> i could tell you, but id have to kill you

<3> I helped you build myth, you better tell me :P
<6> is Ctl the button to save a screenshot?
<3> MORA: yes
<1> !screenshot
<7> to take a screenshot, press: ctrl prntscrn for the entire desktop desktop, and alt prntscrn for the active window. The screen shot is then in the clipboard and you can paste it on the desktop or into any folder where you have write permissions. You could also use KSnapshot if you need a delay or any other advanced screen shot needs.

<3> at least you can in KDE
<5> next question, how ? :)
<6> Why do screenshot popups keep coming up on my display, im not trying to do anything
<3> kstart --help
<1> mora right click a window titlebar - adv - special app settings
<4> this is my Emacs theme :P
<4> http://www.i-nz.net/files/tmp/emacs.png

<9> Hello :D
<1> MORA: no frb
<1> frb, it is the quick launcher kde applet
<3> I helped you with build errors before
<9> Im a gentoo User, But I tried Suse once.
<5> kstart worked fine :)
<3> sPiN: not the titlebar icons
<3> yours look smaller than 16x16
<5> I compiled myth from svn last week, but dosent work too well with dvb-s yet :/
<9> I want to know if the Matrix screensaver is able for other distros ???
<1> i know it is a kde applet
<1> well i run 1920x1200, that shot is scaled
<10> Z10N0101: i've used matrix on debian five years ago :)
<9> sarnold, Do you know how to transfer the S.S. >
<1> that are 24px icons actually
<3> blah
<11> Hi, I think Im being really dumb here, but I cant get the SUSE install resp to work on my laptop
<9> ?
<3> I want SMALLER titlebars
<10> Z10N0101: just install xscreensaver on whatever distro it is you want to use
<1> oh
<10> Z10N0101: any tolerable distro should have it packaged and ready to go :)
<11> I have to set up the network card manually, and each address I try it kicks back at me
<9> mine not
<11> any ideas?
<9> But anyway, I'll install xscreensaver
<1> that is the flath kitty
<1> flat even
<6> i think I may have figured out my network problems
<6> that if think in terminal is useful
<12> i keep getting an ERROR: ZMD does not appear to be running. everytime i start the pc
<9> Do you think sarnold, that in the latest version of the sxcreensavers the Matrix theme is there ?
<12> can any1 help me with that
<10> Z10N0101: it shuold be... it's been there for years :)
<9> I hope, Becasue I loved and I still loving that screensaver
<0> now I have grown to hate yast installer :(
<0> in only 3 days with suse
<0> 2 mins to open ....
<11> poimen> I cant even get it to work!
<0> and then it shows nothing in the screen
<0> naa
<9> Any one here use Qingy?
<0> xkill time
<11> *goes off to get his debian cd back out*
<6> There was a screensaver in AfterDark that I loved, nobody every made it again though, it was like a pachinko machine, and the balls would keep falling until they built all the way to the top, then it would change the pins around
<11> once bitten twice shy
<6> all the balls were little different smily faces of various colours

<11> anyone tell me how to load a module at boot time when installing SUSE?
<13> funda: locate zen-updater.desktop and move it to another directory
<14> mooseshaped: yast -> system -> /etc/sysconfig editor, search for modules_loaded_on_boot
<14> mooseshaped: or do you mean before installing?
<11> not got it installed yet benJIman|tov
<14> ahh
<11> yeah before installing, it's not seeing my NIC
<13> funda: /etc/xdg/autostart/zen-updater
<14> mooseshaped: well once the installer is started you can control-alt-f2 and modprobe the driver, or use the manual installer and pick from list, or there's probably a bootloader parameter but I don't know that off the top of my head
<14> mooseshaped: you shouldn't need the nic up before installing unless you're trying todo a netinstall
<11> yeah I am benJIman|tov
<11> over the internet from the SUSE install resp
<11> but it then complains it can't find it 404 etc. But the network etc is fine I can ping / lookup servers all over the joint
<15> is it possible to move the default path for ifolders on an ifolder server to a different one?
<11> i have a plan
<11> brb
<16> hi all
<13> Albertop: novell edition or opensource one?
<15> opensource one, i'm using SuSE 10.1
<9> sarnold, THANKS BUDDY!!!
<10> Z10N0101: sure thing :)
<12> how should i locate zenupdater?
<15> bulent_okt, it saves everything in /var/lib/simias/SimiasFiles/... and I'd like to move to my home, for example :)
<13> Albertop: novell edition also works on linux, and you can control it via iManager
<15> yup, but is it open and free?
<13> Albertop: but thats not moving actually rather defining the the directory for ifolders
<13> Albertop: i didnt install the open version
<17> ok smart' bouyz.. im trying to give highly recommended smart a chance.. any clues wtf it doesnt like either http://ftp.belnet.be/packages/suse/projects/mozilla/experimental/10.0 or http://ftp4.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/projects/mozilla/10.1/ either one please?.. tx mates.
<15> bulent_okt, ok, thanks anyway
<17> hmm. experimental.. thats wrong klipper me boy
<17> http://ftp4.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/projects/mozilla/10.1/
<12> when i start software updater i get an error says ERROR: ZMD does not appear to be running.
<18> http://img8.picsplace.to/img.php?file=img8/14/kde1.jpg
<19> hi...I'm currently a slackware user, downloading opensuse 10.1...
<15> bulent_okt, I'm just evaluating different share/sync tools, but I'd drop ifolder. The OSS is not documented, just some howto
<17> grrrrrrrrr
<20> hi all
<20> what's the command line to find out stats about you computer? (like cpu, ram, etc)
<12> can anybody help me solve this error
<13> Albertop: iFolder is great but version 2 was more stable
<10> shuffle2: there's a package "sitar" available somewhere that will show you a bunch of information
<19> shuffle2 you can download gkrellm2 also
<10> shuffle2: but cat /proc/cpuinfo ; free -m ; df -h are nice
<20> ....
<15> bulent_okt, it's great, but I don't find a good guide :-)
<20> isn't there something built into the kernel to show basic info?
<10> shuffle2: dmesg?
<19> somebody using xgl?
<21> hello
<22> shuffle2, sarnold: sysstat is very nice
<20> sarnold: naw, not that in-depth....isn't there something that outputs something like: OS: suse 10, cpu: intel PII, etc....
<22> shuffle2: for something simple, you could use htop
<22> shuffle2: no, there isn't
<23> evening
<20> hm
<20> ow well
<20> peace out all
<22> and the OS is not SUSE 10, it's something like "Linux 2.6.13-15.8-smp #1 SMP x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux"
<20> yeah....just an example :P
<23> cat /etc/SuSE-release
<24> is it better to use an SMP kernel on an HT box?
<25> hey i got a problem, i have intalled a other HardDrive(the same as the first) and i cant acces, it says: "mount: cant find /dev/hdb1 in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab" what should i do?
<1> if you want to take advantage of ht it is
<26> odie: you have to edit your /etc/fstab
<26> or make a mount point to mount /dev/hdb1 to
<25> ok, but how?
<1> odie: use partitioner
<1> yast - system - partitioner
<23> nod
<25> ok ill try
<17> m fukn alive.. does anyone know of a mozilla repos that Smart does like?
<21> hello
<27> hi
