<1> GAG is an MBR utility that works with several os's and partitions ...make sure you boot from GAG and install it and follow the simple instructions and it works great for booting into windows or Linux ...even has atimer which you use to default boot

<6> nothing wrong with SUSE. Some minor growiing pains, but nothing that cant be fixed. 10.1 shouldnt be used on everyday production machines, but 10.0 seems to be working great. At least here it does.

<20> welp_: logfiles, they are there to help you troubleshoot. usually they are located in /var/log. you might want to have a look at /var/log/messages and maybe if you see something nfs elated also
